Our Story

Normal agencies get normal results. We do things differently.

Born on May 19, 2005, as Lingkar Studi Statistika Terapan, ELStat began its journey with a clear vision: to cultivate knowledge and skills in applied statistics among students, professionals, and researchers. From the start, we dedicated ourselves to making statistical literacy accessible and relevant to solve real-world problems.

On November 10, 2011, we embraced the era of digital transformation and rebranded ourselves as ELStat ReBorn: A Digital Transformation. This marked a significant turning point where we integrated technology into our learning and services, enabling us to reach broader audiences and adapt to the evolving needs of the data-driven world.

By 2022, we evolved further into ELStat: Litera Saintifikadata. This transformation represents our commitment to building a scientifically literate society, empowering individuals to harness the power of data for informed decisions and meaningful impacts.

Our tagline, “Toward Data Literate Indonesian Civil Society”, encapsulates our mission to nurture data literacy and foster an informed, empowered community that can navigate complexities with confidence and clarity.
